The Young Kings Gentlemen School was created in June 2021. This mentorship program was created to provide life skills training for males aged 8-19. Our mission is to cultivate a generation of confident, resilient, and purpose-driven young men by fostering personal growth, character development, and leadership skills through consistent mentorship and tailored educational experiences. The life skills taught at Young Kings include ironing clothes, washing clothes, cooking classes, changing flat tires, tie and wardrobe prep.

In America only 12% of Black males are proficient in reading by the 8th grade. Young men in this country need Social-Emotional Learning skills, the kind of soft skills needed to become productive citizens in the world. The Young Kings has become a beacon of hope in the community at large. Recently the program was awarded the Outstanding Community Service and Humanitarian award by the NAACP. The program has seen tremendous results in the lives of young men and continues to inspire, empower, and enlighten young scholars.
